REFLECTION:
During elections, politicians start to draw people to themselves through advertisements that they can resolutely respond to the peoples’
needs and have solutions to the country’s problems. We see a different scenario in the gospel;
the people themselves flock to Jesus because they have heard of his good deed of healing the sick.
Jesus does not go to a platform to announce his healing miracles. His good deeds precede him. We may not be a politician,
but do we have the tendency to draw people to ourselves for our own agenda? Action speaks louder than our deeds. Silent water runs deep.
