About the Author

Timothy Backous, OSB earned his doctorate in moral theology at the Alphonsianum in Rome, where he studied under renowned moral theologian Bernard Häring. Ordained priest in 1986, he is currently Headmaster at Saint John's Preparatory School in Collegeville, MN, and also serves as pastoral assistant at the Basilica of St. Mary's in Minneapolis.

William C. Graham is a priest of the diocese of Duluth in Minnesota, former professor at the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, and the author of A Catholic Handbook, A Catholic Handbook on Sex, and The Catholic Wedding Book for Paulist Press.
