Mission
We, the Major Superiors in the Philippines, bound together by our life of consecration and ministry
of servant leadership, harmonize our distinctive and diverse charisms of our religious and
secular institutes for collective witnessing and prophetic action for the building-up
of the Body of Christ.
Vision
The CMSP will be acknowledged as a credible, reliable, and consistent witness of God’s mercy and
compassion in living joyfully and
authentically our vowed life.
Objectives
1) To create more responsive, effective, efficient, and systematic structures and programs that
enrich mutual growth and development towards the fullness of life among the members and
the people we serve.
2) To accompany and work with the poor and the marginalized as they reclaim their dignity so that
we become partners in the work of transformation.
3) To foster the spirit of greater openness, cooperation, collaboration, and dialogue among
consecrated persons in the Philippines in our common mission of Evangelization and in
strengthening a Synodal Church.

SEAMS Membership
The CMSP is a member of the South East Asian Major Superiors (SEAMS)
CMSP (AMRSP). The Conference of Major Religious Superiors in the Philippines,
formerly Association of Major Religious Superiors in the Philippines,
formed in 1972 is the joint forum of the Association of Major
Religious Superiors of Men in the Philippines (AMRSMP) And the Association
of Major Religious of Women in the Philippines (AMRSWP) in
the Philippines founded in 1955 and 1957 respectively. It is a forum
to share common interests, an avenue for collaboration and means to
actively pursue the role of prophetic witness of being religious in the
Philippine church and society Justice and Peace was central to the inspiration
of the AMRSP. Hence, the birth of Mission Partners, designed
to respond, according to the Vision-Mission of AMRSP, to the emerging
needs of the worker, peasant, urban poor, women, human right victims,
political detainees and the church people. The Mission Partners
are: Rural Missionaries of the Philippines (RMP), Task Force Detainees
of the Philippines (TFDP), Task Force on Orientation of Church Personnel
(TFOCP), Task Force on urban Conscientization (TFUC), Urban Missionaries
(UM), Office of Women and Gender Concern (OWGC), Indigenous
Peoples Desk, Center for Migrants Concerns (CMC). The AMRSP
has membership of 90 active men congregation and 271 active women congregations.
