About the Author

Francis J. Moloney, SDB, AM, FAHA, is an Australian Salesian Priest. Educated in Rome (STL, SSL) and at the University of Oxford (DPhil) he has taught widely, in Europe, Israel, Australia, East Asia, and the USA. He is currently a Professorial Fellow at Australian Catholic University, and a Senior Fellow of Catholic Theological College, within the University of Divinity. He is the author of many significant books and studies, a Member of the Order of Australia, and a Fellow of the Australian Academy of the Humanities.
