This book articulates the ways in which the Church in Asia can have an “Asian face.” It stresses the primary role of the Holy Spirit in “understanding and interpreting other religious traditions and how the Church is to relate with their followers.” The Catholic Church alone cannot fully discern the mani¬fes-tations of the Holy Spirit without being enriched by its engagement and dialogue with other Asian Faiths and traditions.
