Catechism for Filipino Catholics (CFC) is the official Vatican-approved National Catholic Catechism for the Philippines. As a national catechism, one major function of the CFC has been to draw together the official Catholic teaching of the universal Church as proposed in the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the Acts and Decrees of the 2nd Plenary Council of the Philippines, with its supplement, the National Pastoral Plan, which together present a comprehensive view of the national culture and specific catechetical situation of the Philippine Church.
